Last week I had my first bottle of Coffaro wine - 1999 Dry Creek Zinfandel. What a fantastic bottle of wine! Dark, full, fruity (slightly sweet), spicy and, wow, what a finish! I purchased this at the Wine Club in SF and regret not buying more at the time. I'm now looking forward to trying the 99 Cab Franc I purchased at the same time. I was referred to the Coffaro website. I've read many of the postings/articles and am amazed at David's frankness and honesty. Why can't more winemakers conduct business like David and Pat? All I can say is this: Coffaro Vineyards has a new fan! I will rave about the wines and the winery's practices to all my wine drinking friends. I've just placed my order for 2000 futures. I look forward to being a Coffaro fan-for-life!
