Dinner Last Night
a retrospective...

This doesn't have a name. Some might called it a rarebit, or Welsh rabbit and something similar. We call it a quick dinner. It's a wing it sort of thing.

Make a cheese sauce. We used milk, dried mustard, wochestershire sauce, cheddar and some grated romano heated together with a little hot suace. We diced up some ham we had in the freezer and warmed it. Eggs sunny side up, we like them runny and we've found the best way to do them is to follow NPR correspondent Nina Werthheimer's perfect process. Toast some english muffins. Top with the eggs, cheese sauce and ham.

You'll probably need a knife to eat it. Serve with a salad. And yes, this is really what we had for dinner last night.
