Scooter story continued from last week:
So I started with one scooter and it got stuck in the vineyard so I up scaled to a new scooter that came in August 2022. It was much better but I noticed the battery was not lasting as long. I was not concerned because I could just charge it again. I found out in the last few days, these are not lithium barriers like the ones in my great Tesla Model S. Now I found out by reading the manual, that it is recommended to charge everytime you use the the scooter, so yes even though you do not drive it, you actually need to charge it once a week............
Gee I was not told this battery requirement by the company, local, who I bought it from. So I tried to take it out in the vineyard last weekend and got stuck, not like the last one which got stuck because the clearance was not high enough, this time I got stuck because it ran out of charge so I was off in the vineyard and had to hobble back and it took 15 minutes, I am old and can't walk on uneven soil.
I was told by this local company I would need new batteries. I said OK and asked why they went out in less than two years? They said i should have driven it at least once a week and charged it everytime I drove it. I asked why they did not tell me that when I bought it and I got no satisfied answer.
So last Monday I asked them to order the batteries and also asked what it would cost. I did not hear back from them for 3 days so I called again and they said they could not schedule a time to come out and put the batteries in until I paid upfront and the cost would be $1000!! So I started looking for similar batteries through Google and found some for as little as $100 and 2 are needed. I did see there were different sizes, so confusing!
So on Friday I had Jose take out the old batteries and take them to local battery companies and he found the right two batteries for $400. Jose put the batteries in and I handed him an extra $100. I was off in the vineyard Friday evening and last evening, so much fun! Yes, it is charging now and I will charge every day!!
So in the mean time last week I ordered a scooter with lithium Batteries.....should I cancel or like every other thing, I always buy two!! I cancelled!

I love this day because it is the longest day of the year for SUN where we are. But also because I love the sun, but everyday will now get shorter until next spring!

Still organizing the bottling of our 2023 10 Month wines.
I have a big back issue.......so it occurred several days ago. I am having trouble moving after a twist caused it!! and the other day I slipped on the floor which took a long while to get up.............so I am still suffering more than I have for a long time. I think I have some broken bones, fractures, but my primary doc did not think so........so I will see tomorrow........remember I can take a lot of pain, like look up my appendices issue back 10 years...... So I am a survivor and would love to go out in my scooter right now, but did that cause the tweak in my back, I am old, but I love what I do!!!!!!!!!!!

Still here, and still trying to figure out which pain killers work for me......I have so much pain when I get up from my bed! As in the past I should have known Qxi does not do the job......time will tell........

They took an xray which was not an MRI, But it did show a new fracture. I am now trying Gummies with 10MG THC...time will tell......Maybe an MRI tomorrow.........

I am back but with constant Pain in my back. At least I can move around a little and not stay in one position during an MRI yesterday. Brad did not explain well, I did slip in a bathtub because there was Maia's small step stool in my way, long story. Here is what I sent to my cousin about the MRI:
It was one of the hardest things I have had to do. They laid me on my back for 30 minutes and told me to stay still and my pain was some of the most intense I ever had. I can not lay flat on my back!! It was hard to stay still so they had to do the test 2 times and it took 40 minutes..............

My back is no better so to move around is almost impossible....also both my toes are now swelled up so maybe Gout??? It has been since April so does gout last this long?
That said the bottling is almost finished with the bottling of our 2023 Block 4 and will do our new Sauvignon Blanc tomorrow which has 2/3rd New French Oak and and 1/3rd Hungarian thus, total 100% new oak. Pat and I will like it and we hope some of you will try it since we have 70 cases. Pat and I could taste one bottle a week but that would take us 16 years, please help🤔

I just heard a few hours ago that Biden dropped out so we will hear what happens in the next many weeks.
Like I said before, my back is no better and my left big toe is not gout? It is probably from a fracture so it is giving me the most pain!!.....now contributing to constant pain all over my body now even when I type!! I may not do many more diary entrees for awhile

I have been back home for over a week but I had no access to my computer unless I somehow got down to my office, very hard by grabbing for dear life to railings and navigating down and up 12 stairs. But now my computer is up in my movie room which is just down the hall from my bedroom so just a 20 foot move on my walker. I even have a Stairlift ordered to be installed Monday which will get me down to my office and Tesla if needed. I will have more info later. I am feeling better but the 4 fractures in my back will take a month or so to get more normal. Remember I have always had some trouble with my back so that will not change. It is so nice to be here on my computer!!
