	Sunday January 1, 2023 Happy New Year!! Monday January 2, 2023 Here is what I sent to a friend who has invested in TSLA.......... "Like I have said if you do not know how good a Tesla 3, Y or especially an S.....IS, you should sell all your stock tomorrow, my point, there are many people like you who will not buy a Tesla, now, as we know so is that enough to discourage all the rest of us who know how great the car is, or sure the non believers will win???? If down I am buying much more, I will be up, my time, 6:30" Tuesday January 3, 2023 Yes TSLA was down again today and I bought more............ We are still on for a new building here to store things so the insulation is already coming tomorrow. No communication on when it will arrive!!. This company is not organized so I hope the next important shipment will be less concerning? Long story Too much more to relate, I need to go up and see what happened to the NFL Wednesday January 4, 2023 Here.........We were out of power today, it is the biggest storm to hit here in years, but we now have 3 Powerwalls ready to provide backup. I saw we had 11 hours left on the Powerwalls, if power was not resumed............We got power up in an hour but it is violent out there so we could see more outages.......I love Tesla. These backups are the future!! Now that they say their is less demand for the cars, this part of Tesla, energy, will have more batteries............Tesla does not have enough batteries!! I asked for a third Powerwall over a year ago and finally I was told I could get one installed a few weeks ago!! Thursday January 5, 2023 As some of you know I am crazy about politics, and I am more concerned about the stock market SO With all this dysfunction in Congress it will affect the stack market if the Democrats and Republicans can get their act together so I have been glued to all of this....... Oh Differently..............Don't get me into the County of Sonoma..........I cancelled our permit with the county!! They were fine with it since they are too busy I guess after 8 months of not approving a simple Ag Building that does not require water, I could go on, but we are moving ahead with the building anyway. It is far away from the road so I KNOW they have other problems than to come in here and confront me!! Read back in the diary and see how some of my other permits were resolved............. So many more problems, like rain................ Tomorrow is another Day? Friday January 6, 2023 Little rain today but we hear it could be intense in the next few days, we will see. Carbohydrates, that is bad for my body........Every time this year after loading up on sweets I gained 10 pounds, I go on a low Atkins diet, by consuming only 60 carbs a day. So I am up by 10 pounds this last quarter and I will lose the pounds but....... What is interesting, I am never hungry!! Even if I take a hit, I do not feel hungry but I do like consuming food SO what is going on with me? I have to look it up and see if anyone else has this problem.......let me make this clear, I love eating!! I am always thinking of my next meal, like tomorrow, we will have Lamb and Roast potatoes and I will love the taste, but I will not be hungry beforehand!! I eat because of habit and mostly flavor.........This is not new, I have had this condition for years, never hungry Monday January 9, 2023 TSLA was up a little today so maybe I can make some short term money? So as you know we are getting another storage building...........and where we want to put it here is an area where the pond is. That means if the pond is high, like now with all this rain AND much more to come............ We have to have a place to dissipate the water. So we have a pipe at the top of the pond that takes the over high water in the pond and takes it out only 100 feet into the second block which is well drained. That sounds great but even this 18 inch pipe can not capture enough water from the pond, with all this rain.........fast enough. OK, so there is some water sitting in the first block, but the vines are dormant so....... It is not causing too much trouble now but obviously we can not install the new building until the water goes down in the first block corner over by the Pinot.The new storage building will make it a lot easier everytime we bottle and even during Harvest.................... Tuesday January 10, 2023 This is my diary So my blood pressure was at 176/75 at 4 pm today. So my doctors have me on the max of blood pressure drugs..........I do not think they are creating a problem. So at 4 pm today I took 2 pills of 1mg of THC..........I took my pressure several times and the end at one hour, 5pm it was at 153/55 So what does it mean, should I take 1mg every hour during the day and stop the blood pressure medicine OR try different things.........yes that is the one..........I am ready to take my blood pressure often BUT really for months my blood pressure was at 175+ at 4pm after taking all these meds at the limit???? Tomorrow Day will be an adventure..............New building is all here we just have to wait for a break, yes we have had over 11 inches of rain in the last few days!!!!!!!! Wednesday January 11, 2023 So yes we have had rain today but not as much as I thought, still now at 7pm, 1.06 inches, I hear there will be a let up tomorrow but much more on the weekend........ We have the Winter Wineland event this week end so we do not know how many customers will come by but we are offering 40% off for all who have paid for this event.........the problem???? It is NFL Playoff week end as usual for this event so I will not be out in the winery when the games are going on.........yes they will be on our big screen....... The final part of the building, we will install is coming tomorrow so I am exited............but Where are we going to put the building? The place we were thinking about is under some water now but we should be able to add some soil or rock and of course we do not get rain after May...........The Pond is over flowing right now so we will take a look tomorrow, since it looks like we may get a break for a day from rain....... Thursday January 12, 2023 Has anyone had Rabbit out there? I made rabbit last night and we even used some to do a dinner tonight SOSOSOgood We did get the frame for the new building today so after these last storms go though by Monday we will look at what we have on Tuesday next week. We need to fill in the area and also think about putting an extra pipe from the dam into a section in our vineyard that is well drained.......long story which will be continued!! Friday The 13th, 2023 There is only one small section that is not well drained. The Pinot section to the left where no water sits is higher from soil that was moved to make the pond years ago. The pond is about 300 feet long and about 100 feet across and is up North toward the road so it sits higher than the first two rows in the first block which is the only place that sits in water now. We will move a lot of soil to that area this spring. Right now I am sure I could walk to the creek, 1200 feet away and find no water sitting after the first block. I am sure many vineyards around here are sitting in a lot of water........ Saturday January 14, 2023 We had this great event, Winter Wineland and we had many people here and did well. Tomorrow hopefully customers will come in again. Pat and I had a part of a Cajun Turkey stuffed with Boudin tonight and it was so good!! The company had removed the bones but left the leg and wing and I cooked it in the Air Fryer for about 45 minutes so some was so juicy and some was under cooked so Pat and maybe I will have a sandwich tomorrow. Actually I may just have the leg. I will check out the leg later, it may be stuffed with Boudin.......... Monday January 16, 2023 So today was interesting like all my days. Yesterday we found out we had very little flow of water!! It was interesting this small flow kept working for hours and we had this big event here so everyone who needed water were fine.........then about 4pm right when the event ended we lost all water......hey we are in the country so we are on a well down by the creek and there is a pump there for 30+ years and has been working fine. So Pat and I were confused and we called our Water guy and he sent someone out this morning. Let me make this clear, it is hard to live without water, but we had bottled water to clean up and still had a great pizza in the evening. So yes, we still had power!! Today it was confirmed we need a new pump and it should be installed in the next day or two. What was great, a company came in here and filled up our empty tank with Potable water, thus clean water to drink. And a nice shower this evening............ Also today I am so excited we are starting on our new building this week.........more to follow BTW, Winter Wineland went well, did hear of great customers in here............ of course I was glued to the NFL, but now who do I root for???? Tuesday January 17, 2023 Again there is too much to relate that happened today and the coming days, but our water has been restored First of all we will be bottling our 2021 16 month aged wines starting on Friday but also we will be bottling some white wine. Hey it is Tuesday after Monday so it was Chicken Backs Monday, so good with Brussels Sprouts........... So it is complicated, how do we find a place for all this new wine. Pat is helping decide where we put this new wine and where we move the old wine for The Wine Club..........OH, I have to find out where to put these bottled wines that are stacked way high so we have to arrange to have what Pat wants for the Clubs coming up in the next year or two...........We will have it figured out by tomorrow, I think it is a fun time......... Wednesday January 18, 2023 So exciting, we will be bottling some of our 2022 white wines tomorrow and I will try them tomorrow night, then on Friday we start our 2021 16 Month Barrel aged Aca Modot.......... Tomorrow we will have all the components to raise a new building.............. Thursday January 19, 2023 Bottling went well, sometimes we have a problem with 2 fillers so after this time and next time when we bottle in July we have to spend more money?, it is only money, this whole winery costs us about 700K a year so nice we make more income from the wine during the year. Brent was here all day, he is the guy who will install our new building so we then will have more places to put all these wines, like today Pat and I finally found a place for all our new white wines we bottled today. I will have tasting notes soon about all the 2021 16 Month aged wines which will be bottled in the next 7 days.......... Monday January 23, 2023 We bottled again today, this time, 2021 Escuro and 2021 Ultimate Cuvee, I preferred the Escuro, so much fruit and balance, not that the UC was not good, but it needs time, hey these were just bottled today so I will check again tomorrow, what I can say the 2021 16 month wines we are bottling are very similar to the 2020 so that is new, in the past it has taken a few months to taste the new wines and see how they are the equal of the last vintage.............. I do not have any guns here! I understand some people do like guns to practice and even some people want to protect their families in case someone comes in to harm them. I try to be nice to everyone I deal with and I do have a gate that is OK to protect us, but as we all know anyone in the US can buy what they need to come in Anywhere and kill someone.............................................. Tuesday January 24, 2023 Bryan's birthday, enjoy So we bottled a few wines today but the most impressive was our new 2021 16 Month aged Cabernet, compared to our 2020 which won a gold...The 2021 right off the bottling line today was great and I am going to open two cabs from other producers, very expensive in the next few days, since they are 2016 wines, so I want to give ours age for a few days............ We will continue to bottle until next Tuesday so I will have more updates.......... Friday January 27, 2023 Maia, our first grandchild will be ONE year tomorrow so we are heading to Albany to see some Family members including my sister who I have not seen for a few years........... Any one interested, Tesla stock is up 60 percent this year so I sold some of my short term trade at a big profit.......I will sell some more of my short term trade soon if it keeps going up Bottling.........We have many issues with our bottling line so we need to make improvements of 7 thousand..........only money like I say, it is only a small amount of what it costs to run this winery So I have tasted many of our 2020 wines compared to our 2021 wines aged 16 months and I am happy to report, they are really similar SO another great year, so far the cab is the best but anything in our Cab is showing well.
