	Sunday January 17, 2021 I mentioned that Pat and I have been watching an OJ Simpson documentary series, OJ Made in America. Susie is here for a visit and she turned us on to a different series: The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story. The later is played by actors and thus a recreation. I prefer the documentary. I like young wines as I have said in the past. Last night I tasted the newly bottled 2019 16 Month aged Dave's Cuvee, compared to the 10 month version bottled last July. I preferred the 10 month wine, because it had more fresh fruit and it was more complex. The 16 month wine was smoother though so time will tell. Monday January 18, 2021 8 I like IPA beer late in the evening so I sure am not an expert. I have started to like all IPA Beers but Late this time in the night I like intensity. More tomorrow It was hard on me today, one of my big passions was shut down because of a holiday.........yes the Stock Market!!!! I will be up early tomorrow to see what happens. We had no holiday here so we bottled Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah and Lagrein today. I will taste them tomorrow, but tonight with nice chicken BBQ I did taste Dave's Cuvee again and I still like the one bottled last July, the 10 month version. Tuesday January 19, 2021 7+ Pat is not into politics as much as I am........let me make this clear she is happy we will have a new president so I will look at this on CNN soon about all the people who died. We bottled more wine today and everything went well so in the next few days I will have what I thought about the new wines, but now I will go up and see more of the Lights.............. That said, we have the generator guy coming in tomorrow and see if we are ready if PG&E shuts off our Power again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,............are we independent and will have power then. He will shut off the power here like if PG&E had done it so I will see if we can start up the bottling line, water and internet AFTER he shuts off the power??? Like I have said this guy has done some great possibilities, if we can get independent, we can make better wine............more tomorrow. Wednesday January 20, 2021 Celebration.......what was that song......I will have to look for it soon up 7+ Yes, I am happy tonight, I was concerned until this day. I wanted to get rid of this liar............. We had issues with our bottling line labeler so we need to shut down until next week and see if we can finish our most important wine, The 2019 Block 4 16 Months........We will try our Cab tomorrow and see what happens........next week we hope the repair company will come and see what happened........... I will survive for another day.......... Thursday January 21, 2021 7+ I need a break.........I have hope for EV.......I just want to know, Pat was up last night enjoying the great presentations with great audio........ Like I said we have a problem with our labeler so we delayed the bottling of our last wine...........a Block 4 2019 16 month version. We hope to bottle it soon/....................next week............. I tried Cabs tonight!!! OK, I have my favorite Cab from Chile in the frig from last week and also our best cab........2018. So I tasted these two wines  after bringing up to 70 degrees, in our cold kitchen.........compared to our 2019 wine bottled just today. Let me make this clear, I have liked wine bottled the same day so I was surprised..........I thought the 2019 wine bottled today was smooth, but not as much character,,,, say tomorrow is another day and I will taste again......... Like I said, our bottling line is having issues with the labeler and on Monday we should be bottling our Block 4? Friday January 22, 2021 7+ I don't know if I mentioned I like intense olive oil? The one I like is so strong and has a very astringent bitter finish, almost too much for even me. I use it at times to make food more interesting. The latest shipment from Greece was delayed because I have heard I ordered the olive oil for too much money......over $1000......It was delayed for 3 weeks and I finally received it today and I had to pay a duty of another $300...worth every penny........long story............ I first had olive oil with my Greek Mother, I am 25% Greek. She made some of the best roast potatoes with a layer of olive oil in the pan before roasting with a Leg of Lamb. The olive oil was called Star and I am sure it is for sale now. It is not much stronger than vegetable oil. When I bought a house in Fairfax in 1971 I tried a slightly stronger olive oil and it went through my body too fast!! I tried again over the years and I got used to better olive oil BUT this new olive oil I have been buying from Greece is the strongest I have ever had and I am adjusting to the intensity.......... I have hope that our backup generator for the winery will work if we have another power outage AND PG&E may have figured out after a year that I have solar on my main house.......long story Sunday January 24, 2021 8 The Packers lost today so I feel for B and D............Now I have waited until 8 pm to see another game that was played.........started at 3:30 SSO don't say I do not have patience.............I love the NFL......Chiefs vs the Bills Focus, The market is open tomorrow at 6:30am my time...................................Block 4 bottling?? Monday January 25, 2021 7 Pat and I have an appointment to have our first shot so we will be ready........ It looks like we will be having a lot of rain in that day and the next day also when I go to check out my eyes We finished our 2016 16 Month bottling of our Black 4. I will taste it tomorrow..........I have a new Luminaire only for me?, 24 cases which will be bottled tomorrow. It was aged for 5 months in a new American oak barrel. I like oak now so I like to have a glass after my Sparkling wine. I really like my 2017 Sauvignon Blanc with a lot of oak, only 24 cases.........I love my Petite Sirah sparkling wine from 2017 and we need to make another this coming year.........2017 is a good year for all of our wines........ Tesla was up again today and their earnings announcement is Wednesday, the same day Pat and I hope to get our shots I go in to see my new Primary lady on Wednesday also, so it will be nice to see if she thinks I will survive..........Geeeeeee. I am not going anywhere for several more years.................. Tuesday January 26, 2021 7 Tesla comes out with their earnings tomorrow. I hope they mention a new Model S.......I am ready.......... What I heard we will have a lot of rain here tomorrow so we hope by late tomorrow we will have less rain...........I am worried about up here we could see flooding down toward Healdsburg and I have to be at my new primary care doctor tomorrow at 9 am.......... also Pat and I are hoping to get our shots tomorrow, but if it is raining too hard we may delay. I sure don't want to be driving through a rain storm, even if it is my Tesla Model S.......seriously, I am 77 years old........ I just went out to the winery which is 20 feet in to the door. I made it in a moderate rain so I am now in my office at 74 degrees. What is different with this storm, it is cold. When we get storms on the West Coast they are usually warm, like 55 or so. Right now it is 42 degrees so cold for us. It is windy also so I hope we can make it through tomorrow...........another day Wednesday January 27, 2021 8 nice day.........Pat and I got our vaccinations!!! So Tesla did come out with their earnings today and the stock was down a little so I may buy more tomorrow if it goes Lower........ Tesla announced what I hoped........a new model S, especially the interior, if interested you could check it out. There are 3 options. A long range one which will still go 0 to 60 in 3 seconds and will travel 412 miles on a charge..........$73,000 without extras Then there are two other options which surprised me: A new model S Plaid, not the one I have on order. It will be less millage but have 0 to 60 in 2 seconds, range 390 miles.........$113,000...without extras Then there is the upgrade called the model S Plaid+ which will be available later this year which will have 500 miles on a charge and go 0 to 60 in under 2 seconds.........without extras.....$133,000......... This is a hard decision for me since I want the most important thing: Long millage without charging......... Take a test..........any of the Tesla options, especially the 3 and Y will go fast..................quick!! Thursday January 28, 2021 8 We will be getting our bottles for our Luminaire the 2020 and also our Fresco, which will be a Rose........and next week we will bottle I made a decision and decided to order the least expensive Model S which has a new amazing interior!! OK, It is the extended Range and I should get delivery next month......I need a new car.........does anyone want my 2017 model S at a bargain?....... Tesla autos hold up in value better than any other auto. I had 3 BMW and i only got about 30 percent back. There is so much demand for used Tesla                I will be fine in having Tesla take control and take my trade in.........but if anyone is interested I could make a deal.......I want everyone to experience the greatest car I have ever had............. As I have said before, I had A Corvette at 21 years old and then another and THEN I had two Porsche, a 914 which was great and another 911 Targa, which had the sweetest engine............but still polluted...... Pat and I are recovering from our shots yesterday and only have a little sore arm SSSSSOOSOPSO I hope all of you will get the shots. I am thinking about the Trump supporters who may come in here to taste.......we have had some of them in the past few months who would not wear masks.........So I am thinking about not allowing anyone in the summer when they could have had their shot........to not come in here to taste unless they bring their verification like Pat and I got yesterday........... I want to protect anyone who comes in here...................... Saturday January 30, 2021.............Last night first, before the power went off.............. 8 Friday I had no sleep last night. I tried all night moving on my side from...............from the right side to the left.........nothing worked...... My new primary lady said: try to get rid of this one you having using for YEARS......it could give you problems? Try she said...........it help me sleep.....I have too much in my mind to sleep.......... So I tried last night and I could not get to sleep. I really do not think it was this one that was eliminated, but I had so many things in my mind as usual.....like bottles coming in Yesterday and packing material and a blood test in Healdsburg and an MRI for my back and another test for next Tuesday and Taking care of my new order for a NEW Model S in 6 weeks........... SO I have had a nap this afternoon and I will look at politics as usual in a while and Pat and I will look at a series........... I hope to survive...... So we did received our clear glass to bottle our Rose and white wine on Monday.......... Now we have no power and only..........The Tesla Power Walls are working in our home but the internet is down and the winery is down!!!!! The 60K+ generator did not start up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DirecTV is working and I celled Hughes!! I am still waiting for Starlink Today at 7+.................................................... So we were out of most everything by 2 last morning. Pat and I were happy we had power in our house, not the winery, I went out to check So the generator did not come on................ I like P&GE They were out here in an hour ago and turned off our power again so we had no internet or water for a short time. The Tesla Power wall came on for the time they were out there......we could see blinking lights, right down the road.............so they had to adjust some problem pole right down the road.........yes someone bashed a power pole. We were up again in 30 minutes........ The Future!! Why did my $60,000 generator NOT come on to today ANNAANNANFD .......... it comes on every week to make sure it is working and uses the expensive propane........I need a new back up? Should I sue this guy, I have never sued anyone but this guy better find out ATLEAST how I turn on this generator manually????,,,,,,,,........for the winery, Internet, and water???
