	Wednesday January 2, 2019 I made it back from Modesto and actually celebrated on my own. I had to go up in the snow in Mi-Wuk so I decided to stay in Modesto..........Oh I was not happy with the Raiders so I was not too ready to celebrate on Mid Night with no one there and I was not dressed for the cold in shorts, no tank top but a short sleeve shirt........... OK today I was happy to get back to normal, what ever that is................ I got a new range top today, Wolf........amazing We get our labels tomorrow and we will bottle next week................. The Market will be down big tomorrow morning and I will be ready to buy...........  I am not too different than at 10.5 years old who lost their Father. So my Mother stepped up and took Lynda at 9 and I at 10 to a first run movie on Market Street in San Francisco, 1953........ It was every year for a long time and Lynda and I experienced New Years Eve at mid night out on Market Street with calendars deep in the street so Lynda and I had to wade through them. It was a tradition on New Years eve to throw out your calendars and wish for a great year...........so That is why I wanted to be up on Dec 31 even if I was alone. I knew everyone up in the snow in Mi-Wake were a sleep.......... Friday January 4, 2019 OK, the most important thing today is we are setting up for bottling our 2016 16 Month wines. I am looking forward to tasting them next week. We start on Monday and it may be raining and as usual we have to find a place to put all the wine. There are a lot of storage buildings here and we have to move things around but with raining it will be a little harder. We have done it before so we will do it again Yes, I know the stock market is my second............ It is interesting again how many times I have traded. I assume I could make a full time job of it.....buy low, sell high.............. Amazon was up 5%, I even bought Apple and have a profit. Tesla is an adventure, I have only bought 25 more shares...............do I sell? Like I say I worry about Trump, otherwise this is a great time to buy stocks. I am only 40% invested so I am interested to see if stocks go lower and then I could invest more. That will only happen if Trump causes more problems than he has. I have said before even a Republican President can't stop the economy growing............ Sunday January 6, 2019 It was nice to escape this weekend to see NFL. I am glad the older QB's won. I will look forward to next weekend........ I am looking forward to see what the Market will do tomorrow. I am really concerned about what Trump is doing so I may sell stocks tomorrow......... We are bottling tomorrow, rain or shine.....we had 3.5 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. We are hoping for a brief break tomorrow but there are many more storms coming in................. Monday January 7, 2019 We are bottling now and of course there are always problems the first day but we are dealing with them. It is cloudy but just a few sprinkles. Today we bottled the Luminaire and Estate Cuvee so far and we will finish with the 2017 16 Month Zinfandel. I did sell some Amazon today and also sold my short term trade on Tesla, maybe more Amazon tomorrow........... 8:10 PM: I am heading up to see the game so I will take a break to let you know the 2017 Luminaire tastes slightly better on first taste compared to the 2018 just bottled. I will try again tomorrow since I have heard all my life, Dave it just got bottled why would you evaluate it now. I love tasting young wines and the Red wines bottled today............ I must admit. Anyone around me in the evening knows I take a lime, 2 ounces of grape, ....pure!, .........juice....... out of a can, then 2 ounces of Campari and 3 ounces of Tequila.................Every night So you might think I can not evaluate wines after a few ounces of liqueur, I have done real well. The Red wines bottled today were fine!! More tomorrow..........We had a lot of time figuring it out on the bottling line.......................... We were all out of here, including me in the shower, trying to get warm.........../............BY, BY about 5:30PM. I was up about that time, for an escape fixing chicken backs for me and wings for Pat........nice Friday January 11, 2019 It has been raining and I had a slight cold so Catarino stepped up and moved the pallets of new 2017 16 Month wines to the storage area. I am fine now so we will move the bottled wine to where it is complicated. Sure we have 5 area buildings where we can store wine and of course we have the new Winery which has been renovated to complicate and complicate So I sold some stocks and I may sell all my holdings except Carnival Cruise Lines and Norwegian Cruise lines, those are my hold stocks. This country may need to take a cruise to get away........ I still have too much Amazon, I want to keep my core investment in Tesla of 400 shares. My Cousin Michelle has ordered a model 3 so I gave her free supercharging for 6 months. Now the family has two Tesla. I am seriously thinking of getting a used Model X for my employees............ All the wines I have tasted have been great. Of course I have the Coffaro palate. The 2017 16 Month wines are just fine. I think I now have 25 bottles opened of 2016 and 2017 wines. I did taste the Terre Melange compared to the Estate Cuvee and preferred it so I am coming around to that Rhone Blend, but it is hard tasting all these wines 8:00 Pm: Sure NFL tomorrow and now tonight: black kkklansman and a Ruination, Stone Monday January 14, 2019 OK, another week............... We will finish bottling tomorrow. It has been raining which we are dealing with..........it involves moving stacks of bottled wine to the storage areas across about 150 feet so we have to deal with some wet in our face. I have delegated authority again since I have a slight cold so Catarino has done a great job in my place. I like escaping in the evening like most of us. I like to think about what to do tomorrow so: Darn my stocks are going down, just like I feared about Trump. My stocks will go up after the shutdown ends, but while it lasts stocks will go down.......I know: If Trump gets in more trouble, of course I will welcome it but then even better, stocks will be down, then time to buy So tomorrow I may sell more AMZN or buy more after I sold some..........buy low, sell high Thursday January 17, 2019 We finished bottling our 2017 16 Month wines on Tuesday, it was raining so we had a small celebration by grabbing hands. Yesterday we labeled our new 2017 Pinot sparkling and our PS sparkling. I have tried both and I am excited since my favorite wines I make are sparkling in the evening. AMZN, should I sell or buy more? OK, I sold some Amazon today, As you know I am concerned about the actions of our president. . so I sold some today and may sell more tomorrow. The Market is up. so there is hope, the Market always predicts the future and is wrong half the time. I am selling to see what Trump decides............. So I have tried to duplicate TalkingRain, Peach Nectarine and I have failed. It is a nice sparkling water and so: I looked on my favorite, Amazon. Got some elixirs to try to duplicate what I liked in Peach Nectarine SO, I am trying but can I duplicate Wednesday January 23, 2019 Life goes on so Jose and Salvador blended all the mud barrels, the mud barrels are what we leave after blending this new 2018 wines. We leave a few gallons of sediment in all the barrels and that becomes Mud, and then Zp2c. We have a leak in our gas line going over to the winery through a concrete slab. We ran a gas pipe over about 50 feet toward the winery and then up the side of the winery. Then over the top on the side by the roll up doors, eventually about 100 feet to the back of the building, that was 20 years ago. Then a few years later we needed to cover that section with concrete. Now after 20 years we have a problem: We smelled gas. and we went over near our house and smelled propane. I have decided to abandon the pipe. That means we have no gas in the winery. Since we have an electric water heater we are OK with hot water. There is a propane Air Conditioner / Heater which was installed in the back of the winery in 1995. Since we won't have gas now we are going to install an electric Air Conditioner / Heater, it is only money. OK, the stock market: I have sold a lot of my trades again. TSLA is down again so I am picking up a small amount for a trade again. Thursday January 24, 2019 I always like to say I do not Have my favorite NFL teams and one I detest because of a past game. I like Jesse, our nice tasting room guy who is not getting his retirement check because he will not get his check from the Coast Gard.........Trump? Shutdown!! Jesse likes the New England Patriots..............OH, it has been hard for all these years hating Tom Brady for one time the officials made a mistake. It was called the Snow Bowl!!
