It is hard to think of new things to write about. But I still want to write what is on my mind........well, there is too much to write, and I can't write everything because I am a slow typist.

This weekend on Saturday Pat and I will head down to Petaluma, about 50 miles South. I want to get there at 3Pm, on time. We will bring some wine, but since we will drive back after two or so hours, I won't be consuming alcohol..............This is the tribute to Jerry...........

As I have said before Jerry was a friend of 48 years. Arlene his wife is having a celebration of his life so it will be fun........

Ok, rain. My online rain gauge understates rain totals. Earlier this month the weather gauge had leaves in it so I saw no rain totals when it was pouring outside. We fixed it  but who knows if there are leaves in the gauge again. We showed over 2 inches yesterday on our website, but I bet there was more. We are all happy for the rain, but it is hard to deal with........

Matt and I have things organized for our blending of 2014 wines during the first and second week of January and then the bottling of our 2013 16 Month aged wines, including our Cab, Aglianico, Ultimate Cuvee, Matt's Select, Lagrein and Petit Verdot which were not bottled in July. We will also be bottling our 2014 Sauvignon Blanc and Fresco Rose.

BTW.........I tried our 2013 Zp2c last night compared to 2013 RaiZin, 2013 My Zin, and 2013 Zin all aged 10 months. The Zp2c had more body and fullness so I was pleasantly surprised........

The IRS is still trying to charge me $5700 for untimely payments of employee taxes. I paid all the money every month but they say I should have paid twice a month instead of at the end. It is a long story but I hope to have more in the future.
