8:30 Pm: This may be a long one so I will post a few times, even into tomorrow............

As some of you know, the Market is down in the past few days. even Tesla is down from 291 to 224 today since September so is this the time to buy more, yes

I should have sold on Monday, this morning. I had a leading indicator!! My Tesla was towed out of here on Saturday night. I did a software update and it said after an hour that I needed to have service..........AND ...................you can't start the car............

So what did I think right away...............I found out after an hour that they did not know what was wrong and they had to pick up my Model S, one of my passions. Then when the man with a flat trailer showed up with a loaner I was feeling better. I drove the loaner down to Millbrae today so that is another story.........

9:30 Pm: I was told by the nice guy who picked up my precious: He said it could be the battery, a single 12 volt battery. What company would pick up your car and bring you a loaner for no cost? More later.....

Yesterday I had to drive to Burlingame to take my Mother to a doctor's appointment. I had a Tesla loaner but it had a smaller battery so I could not make it back with the 205 mile trip without charging. Fortunately there is a Tesla dealer in Burlingame and I could charge there for an hour. While there I found out my Tesla in San Rafael was going to be ready by 2pm. Yes, it was only the 12 volt battery......why do they have a 12 volt battery? And why would the battery cause the car to not start? I found out no answers but I did receive a free battery. Let's hope it lasts longer than a year. I love my Model S! I thought my car was better than the loaner.......long story.

So, I was impressed with the service and I may buy more stock. Also I may turn my car in for the new Model S 85D. That model will be out next year and will have a longer range.

It has been tough lately to post. It is hard to come up with new things to write about so........

I have mentioned the San Francisco Giants before. Pat and her sister Janie like the Giants. Janie and I are passionate about the team. I get so upset I have to leave the room when the game comes on. Pat says I say too much and I rant too much. I agree. I do not like to see any of my teams lose. Well as most of you know, the Giants are in the World Series so starting Tuesday we will be glued to the TV. Pat is even threatening to go down to San Francisco to see the first game there in the series on her birthday October 24. I will not go to another ball game as I inferred in my diary about the last Raider game, look it up.....good story. I ramble.

Pat will probably not leave me next week because even standing room only tickets are over $500. Prices could come down next week so who knows I may be on my own to cook what ever i want. I will survive

Matt has been in here briefly in the last few days. I asked him what is happening?

Matt and I had a good harvest. We have been communicating well. Matt does most of the tests for winemaking now so I just ask him what is happening? He leaves in a few days to head off for a vacation so we talked and everything will be fine while he is away. I did hear the freezer still on tonight so I will send him an email. I assume there are some kegs in the chiller at 55 degrees. I assume it is Sauv Blanc? We will be bottling our 2013 Sauv Blanc in January.

I did not load this last entry so now it is Saturday....................

I forgot to mention......Yesterday was the first year with my Model S.

Pat has a great friend that we have know since 1974. Diane Bone, is great. We saw Phil and Diane in the 70's at least once a week every year until we moved. They were our best friends.............Pat and I lived on the top of paradise in Fairfax California. It was fun living up 120 stairs and friends would come up every week and enjoy the view of Mount Tamalpais. It was hard work stepping up those uneven stairs. I am sure I know how to step up those stairs even in my age. I did it I figure at least 4,000 times in 7 years, I could do it one more time, if I had a chance. It was a great place to be free. I invested in the stock market and lost enough money to decide to move to this vineyard. Big change but it had to be done.................

So Our Great Friend Diane!!!!.......has a friend in San Francisco who can not make the first game of the World Series. Her daughter is getting married.......So Diane has two tickets to the first game of the Giants home stand on October 24, Friday. Pat and I were going out to celebrate Pat's birthday on Friday, but now she will be with our great friend DIANE for the game. I will stay here and enjoy to see if I can identify them in the crowd. It will be fun.........
