Enjoyed the '97 Petite Sirah with several friends after the Michigan
State implosion against Purdue today. Tasting impressions certainly
are compatible with Jim's, although we felt the tannins were a bit more
noticeable, but
certainly not intrusive. This wine was a hit with everybody.
Tasty now and, I assume, destined to get even better. Amazingly approachable
for such a young Petite Sirah.
