Sunday April 4, 2021 Happy Easter to those who celebrate this holiday. Have fun and taste some wine!! Pizza on Sunday as usual for us......... 8 So as you know I am obsessed with the Stock market, it is a game for me.......TSLA will be open tomorrow and let me see what will happen.......I will be up early, like 6am..........I can not sleep past 7 and tomorrow will be before that. We had a great pizza tonight. I am not a traditionalist who makes the dough the same way..........that has no seasoning in it. I load My Crust up with garlic, Italian seasoning, and caraway seeds, I know I am strange..........see below our finished pizza with a lot of Cilantro and goat cheese in the middle, I like experimenting............. 
So this diary is about what I think tonight, like the
present, Tomorrow...... our workers will come back again
we have a lot of work to do, like thinning in a few
weeks, but tomorrow we will start staining our
deck.................women's final,.....soon,,,,,,IPA I will wake early for a trade on TSLA Monday
April 5, 2021 8+ I got threw a nice Fluff book, but it was too
predictable. I need another novel with a
mystery...........I am a slow reader but
I know how to skim............. Our great crew came in to day and they had to move wine so we can get ready for the Club shipment soon. We also started staining our deck and I am happy with the new stain which will look like new redwood. TSLA
was up to day but I still have many short term
trades. I did sell 25 of my 295 shares and now I have
270......tomorrow will see. My 1650 shares at big long
term gains will remain not sold. So i am interested in Absinthe..... I tried 2 ounces and it was
too strong so I tried one ounce and it was too
strong.........I will continue to experiment to make the
best for me.......... Does anyone have a plant of chicory, I do and it is so
strong, you know about arugula, and the spicy character,
but Chicory, is much stronger. ..................>>>>>>>>>>Common chicory is a somewhat woody, perennial herbaceous plant of the dandelion family Asteraceae, usually with bright blue flowers, rarely white or pink. 5 years, we cut it down every year and it comes back soon
after. I bet the roots down deep in a half barrel could be
looked at and then see what the roots could be............ It has survived 20 degrees here.....I am having
Chicory RIGHT now so it makes me awake and an IPA later,
and I will get ready for the Men's match.......... Tuesday
April 6, 2021 8 We have warriors here as I have said, The Flores family heard Cristian is to be moved to a
rehabilitation place so Martha was there today to look
where he is in Vacaville. Catarino is on another
trip....... So the Flores Family have decided to sell their house in
Windsor, two levels and buy a place that has one level so
Cristian can move around freely in his wheel chair. They
still say he will not be able to walk again.......So this
new house will help him to rehabilitate and we will see
what happens..........ssssso Catarino and our other Warrior, Antonio. decided to pull
up large trees ,at, on....... Catarino's house back yard
so they were here tonight after hours......and just left
at 7pm. They pulled up Catarino's two lime trees and
planted tonight down by our creek, which has wonderful
sandy loam and Catarino will wait until they find a home
which will work for Cristian on one level and then the
trees will be transplanted at his new property........ I am still waiting for TSLA to go up more so I will
see......... So I have never seen a sunrise on the ocean, of course
that happens on The East Coast, so I have to see nice
sunsets on the West Coast, I can't have
everything................................... Wednesday
April 7, 2021 8 My iPhone 7+ is not charging, I tried everything
including cleaning the charger port. So it is only
money........I went into Verizon just a few steps from
Safeway which I spent $170.....I digress I was there at the Verizon place and stood, no
chair......... for an hour after waiting, I had an
appointment. My back was in trouble.......... I realized,
appointments are not priority.. I decided to purchase a 12
so I was told by the nice lady that it would take an hour
to backup all my apps. I came back from Safeway and she
said she needed more time to transfer my apps. I have
thought? no, I did not need to transfer all those
worthless apps, I only use my hearing aid one and Tesla
for my Powerwalls. I will go back tomorrow, it is always
fun to drive my S........... TSLA, stock is not moving much, but down today so I
bought back 5 shares of my trade 25, I had sold at 2K
profit. I hope, it will only take time until TSLA goes up
again. Let me make this clear for most of you who do not
follow the Market, since a year ago TSLA has gone up from
80 to 681 today. The stock has been to 900 so I
wait................ My new model S has been delayed, not like the past, Tesla
is in no hurry to make sure this new S is great. In the
past, Tesla has brought out cars that had some problems,
but now that they have great sales with the Model 3 and Y
which are less expensive, they do not need the model S or
even the X until they make sure this more expensive car
will be great.........That said......Pat and I want to go
down to Santa Cruz with our 2017 model S which has only
19,000 miles on it............... OK, the cat is back, he is crying for Fancy Feast I have been selling some airline and Cruise stocks, not
all since I think they will be up some more. Remember, I
mentioned these stocks at half these prices. Who knows, we
have a cruise for next year and it was hard to find the
cabin I wanted so the cruise lines next year will not be
able to keep up with the demand, will they make money
though??? The bottom line, look to the future, that is the
Stock market...So I did not cruise until 10 years ago when I was 65 and
there are a lot of other people like me who will start
booking cruises and some younger than I am. I love cruises
but it is not for everyone for some reason, the ship is
like a whole city and there are so many things to
do............ I will be up tomorrow as usual to check out my stocks. Thursday
April 8, 2021 7+ I had trouble charging my iPhone like I said and now I
find out it needed an update that took the person in
Verizon to figure out, so I now have a new apple watch and
a new iPhone that I do not need........only
money........latest new tech, my goal........ This is a great time of year for most of us, it is Spring
time here and the birds are out. I just stepped outside
and there was a crash, I heard.........it was a Mother
bird protecting her new born........so she fly's away to
detract where the nest is. We are so lucky here, birds
come back every year and make a new nest or add to the one
last year, Spring time is my favorite time of the year.
Kate's Birthday on June 23 is nice too, the first two days
of Summer. I like all seasons, I like what I do......... So TSLA was up a little today so we will see tomorrow. Catarino will be putting on sulfur tomorrow morning. We have to sulfur every year at this time....... Friday
April 9, 2021 Have...........you
heard? We have a politician up here who has been
accused of rape and maybe drugs??? 8:30. IPA soon I may have a more complicated life than most of you. I have this winery and I look at the stock market everyday constantly. There are always too many things to relate, but I try to document what is on my mind, it may not be the most important. Pat and I had a great sausage dinner tonight and then tomorrow Kate, Susanne and Bryan are coming up for a visit. For Bryan and I and maybe Susie, we will have Pork, Bryan's request and I will make Kate a great shrimp, pasta dish. then on Sunday we will have Pizza. So it is Friday, I am never happy the Market will not be
open for two days........TSLA is in a hold but I did buy
another 5 shares when down today. My old IPhone was not charging so I bought a new 12 and now I can not charge it or even charge my 7+ so is that why I do not invest in AAPL anymore.......well they sure got over $1000 from me so I am not happy SINCE I can not even charge my new 12. THINK.... Everyone you hear about who has a Tesla loves it, and not
one complains about how it functions, Some complain about
the paint. If Tesla had a car that did not charge, what
would you say and that is what the iPhone is doing on both
my 7+ and 12. Sure I hope to get the cable I need to
charge my now dead iPhone 12 Monday I am going into a consultation BEFORE I have the right to go see a SHOT Doctor. They want me to bring in all my supplements also, I will not do that and if they ask me to not consume alcohol on that night this will not happen. Like I have said the shots to my Knee before my replacement did not work.........there is always hope......... Too many things on my mind. Catarino sulfured
today.......we got ready to put planter barrels along the
side of our winery and we will plant new nice stuff near
our deck........which looks great............Catarino gave
me some limes from the trees down by the creek where he
planted them to save for his new house. So in the last few days, my back has gotten worse.......I
have done my stretching exorcises and they are easy now,
but they do not help, my pain down my right leg. I have never understood when a doc Says, what is your pain level and I could never answer because in the office, I have no pain........when I am in my chair now, I have no pain, but when I stand for one hour the pain gets strong, maybe 6, I can stand pain, but then after one hour, it gets much worse. The dinner tonight took 1:45 so at times I had pain. It is a figuring out things, I have to sit down at times.........sooo after one hour, I try to get out and sit with my legs up, looking at politics and I am fine for another 30, BUT So tonight it took a little longer to get out with my TV. When I finally decided everything was fine for our dinner, the pain was strong, a 10. I told Pat if I had to survive this intense pain all the time, the rest of my life, I would have to be on heavy drugs.......... Maybe i can sleep in a little.....tomorrow is another day Saturday
April 10, 2021 Update this morning on my Apple i Phones and watches: I finally did get my i Phone 7+ to charge and Kate is here and she let me use her fast i Phone 12 charger so I am all charged up with the i Phones. I get my own fast charger today ordered through Amazon. I was wrong about the 12 needing a special charger. I found the old USB into my computer did charge it, but slower than the fast charger. Kate is going to convince Pat to take my Apple watch. Pat is using my first generation One watch.

April 12, 2021 8+ Bryan helped out in our Pizza yesterday, He said I have
been using too much olive oil in my crust so I will try
less next time, BUT all the three pizzas we did yesterday
were great. Mine on the BBQ had a small crisp
bottom......as you know I do not make the same pizza every
Sunday This creep in Windsor needs to resign. I heard more from
Catalina who lives less than a block from this guy and she
stays away from him. Our Club charge went out yesterday so I will have more money to invest in TSLA? The stock was up today, but may go down tomorrow.......... Our power went off yesterday about 3:30 pm when I was
talking to customers who have not been here before. One
was a Club member and has a winery down in Paso. The other
couple joined the wine club. As I was talking I could hear
the generator come on and we were out for 3 hours. I
continued to talk to my customers. The generator gave us
electricity in the Winery, also water and internet and our
Powerwalls gave us all we needed in our
house,,,,,,,,........then no problem prepping
pizza......... I went to see my new Doc today. I liked him. He wants me to try an injection and I will see him on Thursday........... Tuesday
April 13, 2021 8pm......IPA
soon I have to admit the pain down my right leg has gotten
worse so why ðŸ˜.
It has always been a problem but recently it has caused me
to rethink why?? The only thing I have done recently that
could have caused this is......stretching exercises. They
were hard at the beginning and now I do them all the time
when up in my movie room or in the afternoon at 5pm,
ssssssssso could the stretching be the problem?......I
could ask my nice doctor...let me make this clear,
stretching still hurts.......... So on Thursday, two days away, my new doctor Mike Yang will insert a needle in my back and he said it may take another time. He says I have a pinched nerve and I also have arthritis, I am old. TSLA was up 8% today so I have sold 110 shares. The stock
may go up more....seeing as a chartist for 55
years.........it was a break out, it was easy to see this
morning, the short sellers got caught. So The stock may go
down now until the earnings.........soon. Since we did our Wine Club charges and I sold some Tesla,
we have enough to help out the Flores Family to find a new
house for Cristian.........more tomorrow....... Wednesday
April 14, 2021 8pm......IPA
soon So I have to ask my new doctor, Mike Lang about my
exercises, Like I have said they are not helping my pain
down my leg. Lang will inject steroids in my back tomorrow
at 10:15 Am. I heard from my great Postal lady today who said she has
heard great things about Mike Lang from her friends.
Also I have to say, Bernadette, our Postal lady got the Johnson vaccine last
week. She has had a fever of 103 and after 6 days now she
had a headache that had to be treated. She still did her
job, the mail must go out. So TSLA was up earlier today so I got up at 6am and sold another 10 shares, should have sold more? Not necessary. Sure it closed at 732, 45 points lower than my trade today. I will hold off for now selling more. Our Wine Club is scheduled to begin stuffing boxes
tomorrow morning, a lot of work for all our employees. Pat
has done a great job getting all the fed Ex labels
done............a really hard time. It is so nice it will
not be raining but we need rain........ OK, some cats are smarter than others, like even us. The
cat I have now is not smart, but should I start speaking
to him like we do? I am going to try............ Thursday April 15, 2021 3pm Yes, I got it. Two cortisone shots, one in the middle of
my back was not too bad, but WOW the other one hurt so
much for 10 seconds. It was a sharp piercing pain all the
way down to my toes. The shot went right through the side
of my leg where the pain hits me after an hour standing or
walking in the kitchen. He said it may take time to
relieve that pain and I may have to go back soon for an
additional shot, but if it works, I think I will have to
go back every 2 or three months. I am to do no stretching
for 48 hours and maybe for good on that side........ 8++ Long day, 5 hours sleep Wow!.........Wow. I had no pain down my leg this evening,
sure I had my back contributing to my arthritis still,
somewhat a concern, but I have not been taking Ibuprofen
before the surgery.........I can always hope.....Thanks to
all you people who read this diary, I love the input about
my back. I have learned that some people who have back
issues, it hurts when they sit down. I am fortunate, I
like sitting down or even sleeping and have no back
pain........ Some of you have given me advice about your back problems
and I know how everyone had issues. I can say now what my
new doctor did an injection, and so far stopped the pain
down my right leg........Mike Yang has already looked up
my website so I will bring him a bottle of 2019 Block 4
and see if he likes fruit......... I have said before I have the Coffaro pallet, Prefer
fruit upfront and most produces prefer less fruit by
leaving wine on the skins for after dryness. We prefer to
press before dryness and capture more fruit, THAT is not
the traditions on premium wine so I am at a minority. So you might have seen, bedsides tasting high end Cabs, I
am also tasting, Barolo, Barbaresco and Brunello, against
Aglianico from Italy and our Italiano, They are all really
intense and I like them all, no sipping in the bunch,
especially if you swirl, intensity, like I
do................... So it is now sunset at 7:49, nice so I went out in the
vineyard in my scooter, but after I got off, I hope the
shots helped, NO pain.....Ibuprofen is needed? It was nice
seeing what is growing, I am sure we will start uploading
pictures............... So the last several years we have had this Family
Member. I think that means some one who lives in
your house, sure kidding somewhat, it could be spiders,
there are many here in the North Country So my point after
getting 5 hours of sleep is The Cat Cory, is not happy he is on a diet by Pat. He
usually follows me when I went out tonight to The
Vineyard, not tonight , too lazy?.....OK, he is a Family,
member.........My sister, not living here, not heard from
her, I hope we can get back? again, we have
issues.......Time will tell......... Friday
April 16, 2021, every one got their pay check today,
twice a month.....Pat and I only take one at the end of
the year 8 My nice Postal lady said she was happy I had results on
my back Poke and she said wait for the next few days when
it gets better. Well Today I had a tingle down my leg when I went out to the
building on my scooter.......sure with my scooter, I did
not want to aggravate the incision so I was cautious, but When i got off my scooter, I got the slight pain down my
right leg, which has never happened before. Before the
pain down my right leg only happened when I stood up in
the kitchen for an hour.????? We finished packing our wine club to go out next week and we are now opening up for tasting somewhat inside our winery, There will be precautions. We will set up a tasting outside and limited inside and the wine will be served at our counter inside BUT we do not want customers hanging around at the BAR.....so the bar is only for distributing wine or doing sales...... I have now bought 30 shares of Coin.......time will
tell............ I have mentioned Chicory before. I have some planted in a
half barrel, we have plenty planters for 15$ if
interested, Chicory has survived 10 years now and stands
up to 28 degrees and I know it has mentioned around New
Orleans where it does not freeze. So maybe some don't know
Chicory is a survivor.......... I like IPA, no surprise. After dinner, I usually have a
few ounces. So I purchased some real nice 5.5 ounce small
beer glasses, if interested let me know........ Saturday
April 17, 2021 8 We had many people coming in today to taste so customers
are out to taste again Pat and I are always into the Academy Awards so we will
look at Minari tonight....... My back today..........getting ready for a great Rack of
lamb with roast potatoes.....after one hour I had a tingle
down my leg again, but not as bad as yesterday and not as
bad as the past, I can only hope. |
