	Tuesday May 8, 2018 So I leave in a week or many. As I have said before Pat is one of many I know who do not want some one to know where they are. i can understand some of that, but my choice would be to tell all AND of course don't tell a lie.............. OK so in the next few days I will state: would happen in the next Month or so......oh I hate not telling the truth. So soon, OK I should be not give the date.........Pat and I will head off to Europe for three weeks...........more to tell 8:00 Pm: OK, I need a beer............... We head to Barcelona and stay a day and then go on a cruise from Barcelona to Venice............. Then we head inland to the heart of Aglianico............. You can guess the cruise, May 24. Some of us think if someone knows when we are away, they could jump over our fences and take what we have. Pat and I have no cash here. Taking cases of wine would be an adventure More tomorrow.............. Wednesday May 9, 2018 We have news, not fake news, Josh has decided to take a great position in Texas, where he is from so it is a shock to me since he did all the hard work around here. Winemaking is hard work even an owner, but especially a hard worker. Sure I have said before, no one has the title of winemaker. I do not have that title, I just like to say, I make the last decision on blending and what we bottle. So maybe Josh wanted the title of Winemaker, I do not think so, he just has not been happy here. He came here because his girlfriend wanted to be in Sonoma rather than Napa and then she left him for someone in Sonoma County. I asked him several times how is the dating going and he would say OK. Then I would ask him recently and he would say, not much. Josh said today he missed being home! More tomorrow, after all tomorrow is another day Thursday May 10, 2018 I need a Costco fix and I need more tequila. Pat is heading off to The City to look at dresses for Kate's wedding so when I drop her off 30 miles a way I can also go to Costco............... We had a meeting today and Josh will be here until the end of the month so he is documenting  a list of everything we do here. Of course I know what has to be done but now Jose needs to be ready for Harvest........long story....... Like I have said winemaking is easy but a lot of hard work so as long as we can get organized we will be OK. Josh said he will miss us and I can sure say I will miss him. I will ask him to post something about his great opportunity is about.............. OK, we are going off to Barcelona, I have to document this trip. Pat and I were in Europe in 1975 together. It was amazing!! The highlight was the Oktoberfest on our anniversary date of September 29, yes the October Fest is in September. Then we headed off to Paris for I think 6 days. It got cold so Pat was not happy she did not have a long coat. I loved the food............ Before Paris and Germany we had a fabulous time in Spain. The wine was great and I loved driving my Seat Spanish Auto all over. We did go to Madrid and saw a friend but we loved the coast towns. I had my first paella and wondered how they did rice without a lid........gee I loved the trip....... So now it is 43 years later. We hired the Wine Lovers Tours and we hope it will be great. But before........we were in control and now that we are older, it will be an adventure..........  Like I said on this trip 43 years later, I am sorry I have to remind myself. We decided on a cruise first and Business Class............more later Friday May 11, 2018 I am here at 8:Pm. I need a berrr.............an IPA. Pat is off with Kate in The City!! i Grew up there so it was OK to just visit last week. Back in 1960's we used escape to Santa Cruz as I have said to get away from the fog............ +So now a small 2 ounces of hop revolver IPA, helps me to focus. I love Tesla as you know so I still trade it and every time it goes down I buy 50 shares just for a trade so now it is at 301 so I will wait for a sell off I sold at 304. TSLA  is the most short stock. A lot of investors think for sure Tesla will fail. Time will tell................ Josh, I will miss him. He gave me so much confidence in him that I gave up worrying, except for Harvest. So now we hope Jose will step up. Jose has impressed me over the last few years. I could go on but look what I have said about Jose before. Jose is very smart. He is smarter than I, like I know my two daughters and Pat are smarter than I in certain circumstances. Too much information............ Tomorrow is another day Saturday May 12, 2018 It is one week since the Kentucky Derby. Join us next weekend for the Preakness........... Like I have said I love what I do. I am lucky to find what I need. So yes Josh will be leaving and i will miss him because he made things easier for me. I am confident Jose will be great.  Catalina  and Jesse are ready too..........I will have to step up and help also??!!...............
