Tuesday May 24, 2016 I started this a few days ago......Tomorrow I will try to talk about wine.............. The Other Day: I went to a meeting the other day........I have to get more in control, I heard we vineyard owners have to have a board meeting with our family so the meeting was about succession,,,,,,,,interesting for a while but I have none of my family interested to take over................I am 73.......I expect to live a very long time, but all of us don't know when we will die, oh except someone who commits suicide. That is the ultimate objection on your self. Trump is not nice.............. like I said I will sell all my stocks after Trump gets elected. I would rather have Hillary because one of the reasons to vote for her is I think the stock market will do well......................I heard a person was run over on our freeways near here she was on a scooter. A truck came by just before that and mashed a lantern and the lady could not react quick enough..........OK I have no problem with people on small vehicles except it makes us think more.............there are a lot of people driving crazy out there. It is fun for me to stay away from them...........I am always thinking but not taking chances............But Pat was upset again the other day, I was driving down to see my mother, a 220 mile run in my Model S..........easy. Pat said why did you stomp on your breaks?...........I said "That guy was one foot a way from my Model S. So didn't you see?.......He backed off and dropped way back when I sped up to 90 in two seconds. I watched but Pat was talking also..........She said  ........."Road rage"....If something happens, I won't drive with you again SSSSSOOOOO. I moved over after a minute or so and watched this guy. He seemed to be docile for a time. I was way ahead of him so I thought of what Pat said about Road Rage (I might get shot?) so when this guy was moving up fast finally, I slammed on my breaks in the far slow lane to make sure he sped on by......I am old..............I did not get out of a car like I did in 1965..........OK, I had a 1964 Corvette Yes this is not a good one in my past...........  I had a 1964 Corvette, A wonderful car for a 22 year old. I think I was the youngest driver to own a Corvette. Every Corvette driver I saw was older than i. Corvettes do not sell well so there are very few sold every year. The Model S sells more. but this is about my 1964 Corvette. I was on Highway One in Sonoma county way before I lived here. A guy came up in back of me on this one lane road. He was so close to me and made me nervous. Highway one is a very windy road and no one can drive fast because there is always someone driving slow...........So this guy got way to close one time around this turn, there was no where to pass so why did he get so close to my Corvette? I was with a date, who knows what she thought,,,,,,,,,,BUT I stopped on the middle of this two lane road, one lane each way and got out of my car and confronted this guy, luckily he backed off but you can imagine all the cars behind us giving us a bad time..........tomorrow is another day........ Wednesday May 25, 2016 Pat is away so I pick her up tomorrow. I have to let her know about problems with the sale in Seattle..............Pat has been seeing Giants games......... I am selling Grapes. I have at least 4 people interested, all only wanting less than 10 tons each. Hey I only make 80 tons so if all 4 wanted 10 tons I would only have 40 to myself SO I have to restrict the grapes they want. Most of them want Rhone grapes and we do not sell much of the two wines we make, Terre Melange and Grenache. We have sent each out in our wine club at times and we do not see new sales. Since all the new grape buyers want Rhone it is nice BUT I do not enough to sell. As you can imagine we will make a very small amount of Grenache and Terre Melange this year............... We are preparing to bottle starting on July 5 our 2015 10 month aged wines..........fun fun fun I have made up my mind, I have finally decided I will accept Hillary or Trump. At my age it probably won't make a difference, but I only hope Trump if elected will not screw up So as i said I will vote for Hillary.......I respect all the women in my life and we need to try a woman in the white house..........who will do a good job, your choice, I have made mine.
