Tuesday April 19, 2016

It is 7pm and I have to go up and see politics and a Giants game. Both should satisfy me even before the results are over so I want to settle down half way through the results.........and read a novel later tonight..........

As I said before it is nice to have some income to bottle and order labels for July, bottling of our 2015 10 Month Wines. Thank you for all the recent orders and of course our wine club........It will be so much fun to try the 2015 wines when they are bottled.

Tonight I tried all...........The wine for our Passport Event this weekend. We will pour out of the bottle 2013 Barbera, 2013 Pinot Noir, 2013 Terre Melange and 2013 Aca Modot and also Block 4 and Zinfandel................

So I set up 3 glasses the same......seriously I think all glasses would taste the same as long as they are the same...............I guess I believe some what, when we smell it is stronger than our taste......search about smelling wine.........so with different glasses, every one would taste different because of the shape. So at a tasting make sure you have the same glass before professing what you think.........In a hotel room I am usually provided with two glasses which are the same. I don't bring my own glasses, they could break......They could even be plastic, but if they are the same, it is consistent. I am not too critical.......All shapes of glasses will depart a slightly different perception of a wine.........

Out of the same glass,.......Tonight blind, I tasted first 2013 Aca Modot, 2013 Terre Melange and 2013 Zinfandel. I got one right, the Aca......I noticed the Terre Melange was much more tart. The Zin was nice and smooth. I don't like to say preferences..............but

I then tried the 2013 Barbera and the 2013 Pinot Noir, both are unbalanced for me. They are light tasting, short on the finish, no layers. no ending, finish........Remember Pat and I do not agree on most wines so I am very sure you may not agree with me..............but

Then I tasted 2013 Block 4.....balance

8:00Pm: Sometimes this late at night I think about having a small taste of Heineken, as I am sure I have said before. I take a taste or two and usually save the rest to marinate some food the next day. Tonight I may indulge a little and use the rest to marinate some Halibut, I bought the other day at Costco........My back is feeling better.....

Tesla is being bad mouthed by Consumer Reports again. Anything I know first hand before I see a review in Consumer Reports, I usually disagree. So they say they hear sounds, like squeaking, they hear movements in the roof and sides of the Tesla. This is amazing because I agree........

Tesla has no sound from the outside except the road. You do not hear an engine......So it is so quite you hear things that always existed in a internal combustible engine (ICE), but the sound was stifled.............

What gets me real upset!!!!!!!!!!! Consumer Reports still rates all these cars that have big recalls because of deaths. I still haven't heard of any accidents where a Tesla died because of the cars fault. So

Consumer Reports ignores recalls on all the Foreign imports and is only concerned about squeaks and sounds in a Tesla.......Seriously only my opinion..........Consumer Reports??

Wednesday April 20, 2016

I think Consumer Reports should say that most of there recommended ICE cars have caused many accidents with deaths. So my opinion when Consumer Reports recommends a car, they also include the large recalls because of deaths. Consumer Reports only tests a car for one time and they do not consider recalls or especially deaths. They do want all their online people to state a flaw in a car. Tesla is the safest car out there..........

I have a friend who just test drove a Model S, Tesla........I hope she wont mind but here is what she sent this morning.........

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Good morning, Dave -

Words can't describe how fantastic this car handles!

Of course, you already know that.

I drove, my brother drove, we tried out the auto-pilot on the freeway, watched it self park -

asked a million questions and had a great time.

We took some curves FAST and it was nothing short of heaven.

Built one - thinking blue metallic, although your color is awesome.

I'm working on the numbers now to get one in my garage in the coming months. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

I hope she is the next one to enjoy the future...............I love my Model S Tesla....it is by far the most impressive thing I have handled........

Handled............Definition,,,,,,,,,many:::

fitted
 with or having a
handle or handles, especially of a specified kind......feel or manipulate with the hands..........to lift something and touch, hold, or move it with your hands:

What is interesting.......Tesla is the thing in control.........

I just got delivered a Fitbit Blaze. I spent 90 minutes trying to set it up.......they have no phone tech so I had to correspond with a nice lady, probably in another country SO to make it clear I had to type in messages to a live person but I could not talk to her by a phone...........

I told her first I had spent over an hour and I am really upset and would like to know how to set this Blaze. I spent another 20 minutes with her but I finally have my Blaze on.

I have a lot of stock in Apple because I believe in the Apple Watch. I was one the first persons to have one. I really like it but I don't like I have to charge it every night....so this new Fitbit Blaze will be an adventure this weekend. We have over this Passport Weekend many of my favorite people so I will ask them about this Fitbit Blaze........Like I said I have a lot of stock in Apple so it will be interesting to hear what all my friends think..........So far I do not like this Fitbit Blaze so i put my Apple Watch back on

Pat and I are still figuring out charges to our Wine Club. We made a few mistakes..........long story........we did OK.......but it has been a lot of work.

We have again decided to not do a POS. We will continue what we have done which has worked out fine for 15 years. It has been a hard decision again since I hoped we could just separate Futures from bottled wine but it has been hard to figure out........long story

I am hoping soon to head up to my favorite place on the Oregon Coast, Oceanside............
