Sunday April 10, 2016 I remember a time way back maybe .1975. I just know Pat and I had a New Years Eve Party all our guests had to hop up the 120 stairs, big high steps, so we were young. I obviously had no where to go, so I could enjoy the evening. I am sure there was great wines and great times, especially Bordeaux, but I only remember one thing................... Billie was invited and I thought I saw him for awhile.......so it gets exciting, we have 50 people up 120 stairs having a great time..........""""we never had anyone, over 7 years up 120 stairs that ever had a problem going home"""" We were young?................. So I look for Billie about 11pm, an hour before midnight on New Years Eve and I can't find him even though I assume his girl friend is dancing...........There was a great deal of stomping on the floor................. Billie and i had been doing some stabling the bottom of the house. I had done a lot of work.........putting temporary adjustable jacks under the floor in a close place........another story. Billie had done other strategist supports for this party. Structural......... I agree the floor was moving SO I went down stairs and yes I found Billie, crouched, I am sure with some hash..........He looked scared. I turned to look up above him and I finally saw, a floor which was moving 6 inches up and down and neither of us had any control at that point. I don't think we spoke, but we knew we could be in trouble at any moment. We had a temporary support under this floor........... I think I went up stairs and looked at all the happy people and I was so happy, the floor survived, but to this day I know it could have been.................Billie, there are many stories........ Tuesday April 12, 2016 I make a lot of mistackes on this diary, gramtically and i try to correct them, as you see now, it takes time after I rigt............. OK, I will correct for now and it may take me an hour to upload a diary this evening or any other day.....I have a lot of trouble repeating things over and over, to make sure new and even some who have followed me know where I stand on many things........... I know some of you want to hear more about my Tesla, so I will hold off on Billie unless I hear from someone...........Billie is in my mind and I hope to not forget............. Today was another big event, for my model S...........Yes Tesla, alerted me I had a software upgrade and would take 1:45 hours so I could not drive........It was a minor upgrade for me, being they made it more precise to drive in a parking place like I know about San Francisco. The Model S now can Park it self, in a parallel parking place in San Francisco or any other place. All you have to do is use your Tesla remote.......... Over the internet, wirelessly way out in the country it was done in less than an hour. I don't need this new upgrade unless I want to head into Kate's garage, and do it outside the car. It will now park in Kate's garage automatically. Kate's garage in San Francisco has maybe 2 inches on each side to navigate. Now I could go up to her garage and get out of my Tesla and activate the remote and the Model S would navigate inside and stop a few inches in back of the car in front............Kate has a garage with tandem parking so the garage is shared with tenants up stairs so it is complicated........Seriously, the Model S is the best auto, ever. We have charged over 1000 cards today so if anyone has a question, I will be here tomorrow. Over 10% of the cards failed so we hope to hear back from some of those customers who want our wine. We used some QuickBooks processing and I hear the credit card company did not say it was from David Coffaro Winery, but some place down in Mountain View.........Let us know if there is any questions............ Friday April 15, 2016 Finally I have some money, thank you.......We offered our pre-harvest futures and then this week we have been working on our Club, $130.00 delivered to your place of choice, free shipping....... I can not describe the problems we have with the Club. I said we had many bounces and half will come back. Like I said to Pat, David Coffaro Winery is not the most thing in their mind........I am only kidding, no, but it would be nice.......... The Passport event is next week end and we will have a nice time.........I like having some money...........So I paid off my Equity Loan. I needed money to bottle our wine, now I paid off $80,000.........It costs money to run a winery........I love what I do.............. Have you heard.............Costco has offered me a new card to replace my American Express card. I dislike American Express because they charge me at the winery 3% compared to 2% on other cards..........Things may be changing because I got a Visa card from Amazon and now I am getting 5% off on all my purchases. This is a big concern with us businesses. Does that mean our processing charges are going up?.........I am confused so I checked out this new Costco card from City Bank.............Wow, I could get 4% at gas stations.........I don't need gas and I can get 2% on my Costco in store purchases, what is going on.............has Costco hooked up to an oil company???????? I need many things that Costco has to offer so since my back is getting a little better, I will head down to Costco and find out what is going on???????? I have an electric car and don't want you to subsidize Gas guzzling cars................ Saturday April 16, 2016 So I did make it down to Costco, a major achievement for me, only kidding partially. Of course you heard my back has been a problem but actually today it has been the best for the last two weeks. So I heard from the front desk:......no problem you can use any Visa Card.........BUT I read the letter I got from Citi Bank::::::::::::.........."You will get a card with your membership on it and then you are so happy, you can use this card to charge at gas stations for 4% back".............sorry I have a Tesla It looks like I will receive a card and I guess it will be up to me to decline it....... BTW we still have about 130 cards we ran for the Club, that were declined. We still have 1000 customers still members of our Club.......Thanks If any of you are coming for Passport this coming weekend, it could be raining...............This is a classic, no one knows A DEEPER UPPER TROUGH DESCENDS INTO THE REGION LATE IN THE WEEK. |
