Monday May 2, 2014 Sorry, May 26

Ok these kitties are happy, too happy...........they turned off my num lock, I just found out a few minutes ago, they deleted some of my mail to junk, dropped my credit cards and wallet on the floor, I could go on.......they are so cute..........they are all over the house so how do I keep them in the house from all the wonderful monsters for them to eat outside. Cats need to be outside especially in the country. The Mother of these two kitties would bring in snakes and lizards..........we hope to train them to survive...........

I got a message from Catalina to find out how her lost kitties are doing. Catalina is fine and wanted to know if I had named them so this is some of what I sent her:

Pat says we should name them after Giant's
players......sure I said will you take some responsibility, no I won't
was her reply. She also suggested, Venus and Nadal after tennis
players........and I love tennis so no...........also we have to make
sure what sex they are................

I tasted several new wines tonight, like I have said before I have the benefit of any of my wines so I usually pick 6 or 8 bottles, some times I try blind tastes so tonight was one of those times. I went down to find 2012 Block 4, both 10 months and 16 months and found neither so maybe I have to find some more. I came up with something more interesting. Looking around for those Block 4 I saw some 2010 Petite Sirah and Lagrein, so I took 2012 Lagrein and Petite Sirah and I had to have two more so I picked the Natural and Dave's, the Cuvee Natural was great. We are out of it unless you ask me for a bottle in my cellar........

So I think the 2010 wines.......BTW..........these were all green cap or 10 month aged wine.........Ok 2010 was potent!!! Like I have said this 2010 green cap wines will at live me. The 2012 Petite Sirah and Lagrein were very smooth, balanced. They are the best wines by most people. Seriously I could never consume a whole bottle of any of my 2010 wines in green cap. They have a lot of acid. We did make many of the 2010 wine aged 6 months longer and tagged with the red cap. I guess I am going to have to try green cap and red cap 2010 wines..........remember.........the 2010 Red cap has much less acid and will taste better now, but acid will preserve..............
