November 20 - November 26, 2011

	Sunday November 20, 2011 6 days ago I said AMZN, (Amazon.com) was doing well but I was nervous because they are losing money on many of their offers. Since then the stock has gone down 10% so I have started to purchase more. I hear they are losing money on their new Kindle Fire also. The stock may go down more especially since Congress will do nothing for the next year until the 2012 elections and that may cause the Market to go down. I am also interested to see if these protests against Wall Street may make more of an impact over the next several months. Our 2011 Late Harvest Petite Sirah is fermenting slowly. Matt is going to check the progress next Wednesday and then may add a stronger yeast. Right now we are using a yeast which acts slowly but creates great character. We have decided to stop the fermentation at about 12% alcohol and it is only at 3% now. Most of our red wines have finished fermenting and can be tasted. I did taste a zinfandel barrel and thought the wine had great potential.
