	Friday January 7, 2011 The celebrations are over and the real fun begins. This week we are blending all our 2010 wines and making decisions for the new year. We are making 6 new Zinfandels and we have to come up with new names. As you know we use Zinfandel on only one wine, our Estate (Usually 100% Zinfandel from our old vines). Each year we also make "My Zin" with Petite Sirah and Cabernet blended in. In the past we used Neighbors' Zin to describe a Zinfandel from grapes purchased in Sonoma County. That name will be used this year for one of the new 6 Zinfandels. We have started to brainstorm titles for the other 5 wines. You may want to look back on my entry of December 23 where I describe the new Zinfandels. Please send us a suggestion for a new name, we need help.
