For
public use, the Internet as we know it started to take off in the mid
1990's. By 2024 there were over 1 billion websites. The first blog
began in 1994, but according to an AI search, even by 1998 there were
only several dozen blogs among the then 2.4 million websites. Our
webmaster, Brad, suggested to Dave that it would be good to
have
an online diary. And what is a diary, if not, by any other name, a
blog? The first entry was on September 2, 1998, which makes Dave and
Brad some sort of pioneers.
